逆流

To go against the current, i.e. the stream of transmigration, and enter the path of Nirvana, also called [lang id =1028]預流, the (sa) srota-āpanna, or (sa) śrāvaka first stage.

◆謂初果聖人， 背逆生死之流類， 故名逆流。 ◆謂初果須陀洹， 依戒定慧， 精勤修習， 則能斷三界見惑， 出離四趣生死， 而證真空涅槃； 所謂逆生死流， 順涅槃道也。 （梵語須陀洹， 華言逆流， 亦曰入流。 三界者， 欲界、 色界、 無色界也。 四趣者， 脩羅趣、 餓鬼趣、 畜生趣、 地獄趣也。 ）
